'm not familiar with much of her work frankly, and from what I understand American Doll Posse is very different. It's not musically all that remarkable, but I'm pretty impressed by the amount of work that went into the theme and the story, particularly how Tori writes and performs so differently for each character. Album is an earful at 78 minutes to say the least.

Fans? Album I should move to next?

I've only heard two of her releases; her debut Little Earthquakes which I like a lot, and her third Boys For Pele which isn't quite as good.

Little Earthquakes is pretty harrowing lyrically, but the music mirrors much of Kate Bush's output.

I think Little Earthquakes and Boys for Pele are her best. I really enjoy her stuff.

I have a few Tori albums and must say, am not a huge fan.
However, anytime I see her perform, I'm intrigued.
For me I think she's one of those artists who is better live than on record.

Quirky, haunting and interesting. I stopped at American Doll Posse. I really enjoyed her earlier albums and have gotten less interested with the release of each new album.

My Picks: Past The Mission (featuring Trent Reznor) / Cornflake Girl / Flying Dutchman / Crucify
