an example I have used for this is:
Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope - Final scene with "Our Heros" receiving medals and admiration of all those around them. Take the sound off and see how effective that scene is without the music. Or mute the sound here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSZB0NjRqzc

I just love Zack Hemsey's music. All his music's truly a masterpiece. Mind Heist for Inception, Changeling Instrumental, Empty Room are true classics.
