The nascent career of Amy Winehouse, the famous English singer-songwriter ended last month(23/7/â11). A private funeral for family and friends is being held today(26/7/â11). In an interview with The Album Chart Show on British television, Amy Winehouse(1983-2011) said she was manic depressive and not alcoholic. She added that this sounded like "an alcoholic in denial".[SUP]1[/SUP] In late January 2008, Winehouse reportedly entered a drug rehabilitation facility for a two-week treatment program. Amy Winehouse is going to die young,
at least thatâs what weâre expecting,
according to Salonâs James Hannahan.
It seems inevitable, given the ferocious
soul singerâs combination of youth, talent,
chutzpah, substance abuse and bad taste
in men.[SUP]1 [/SUP]She will have lots of company in
rock-ânâ-roll heaven in the sub-section of
those with manic-depression, or what is
now called bipolar disorder. The artist who
sings the blues without living the blues is
no legend..and Winehouse is determined

Donny Hathaway, who committed suicide at 33,
