not music related, but boxing legend Joe Frazier has passed away from liver cancer....
he was the first man to beat Cassius Clay(Ali) and the pair of them fought out the famous "thriller from manilla".

Who won? BTW I am not really a boxing fan but the guy thst really impressed me was Roberto Duran. Now that I have posted this I am asking myself where did Duran Duran get their name from? Anyone know?
Found it - They would go on to name the band after the villain from Barbarella, Roger Vadim's French science-fiction film. The villain, played by Milo O'Shea, is named "Dr. Durand Durand".
Oh well I have effectively managed to waste another 5 minutes of my life.

Yes !!!!Jerome...my favorite also was the Machismo...Roberto Duran....relentless in the ring ...he never gave up !!!!
