Besides the book, movie, TV show and hip hop group...yes I recall The Firm from the eighties ! I remember them because I simply find Paul Rodgers' voice one of the great rock voices imho !

I actually saw them in concert at The Broome County Arena. Jimmy Page, Paul Rogers, Tony Franklin on fretless bass and Chris Slade. They were the second Super Group of the 80's, behind Asia. Interesting cover of "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" on the album, and the acoustic guitar groove on "Radioactive" is really cool. Also, "Satisfaction Guaranteed" is the best Bad Company song NOT DONE BY Bad Company!

Agree on Paul Rodger's voice (disagree that he could take Freddy Mercury's place).

That version of "Satisfaction Guaranteed" went ker-flooey; here's for real: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvjVGh0jmzY
BTW here's somebody who could take Mr. Mercury's place (if he hadn't predeceased him by a decade), at least when doing this Queen-ish cover of an Elbow Parsley song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cg0Zv6shMXQ << from this album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYfA1e-OGkY http://www.allmusic.com/album/slaughter-on-10th-avenue-mw0000038715 << A masterpiece through-and-through--Mr. Ronson was a music Renaissance man: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mick_Ronson
Sorry about the hijacking but when yo' boy JazzboCR gets an idea...like a dog with a bone.
