I can't remember the first I bought for myself but the I received 2 as a Christmas gift from my brother because he knew my Dad was getting me a Discman. Anyone remember those? Anyway, they were Pearl Jam's 10 and The Cure's Disintegration.

Dark Side of the Moon - Floyd. Still play it every month. I think it's become a ritual with me. Never tire of this album - Never will.

The Discman was supposed to be portable like the Walkman but it would skip if you really tried to walk around with it with headphones. It was easy to hook up to your stereo though which is what I did

I bought several at first, Sgt Pepper, Dark Side of the Moon, Best of Moody Blues,U2 - Joshua Tree ...can't remember which one went into the cd player first...too long ago ..lol

Yep. 10 year old LMD was rocking out to some Aaron Carter shortly after buying his first walkman.
I look back on that period as the "Dark age." Let's not make any jokes I haven't already heard about it before... <_<
