pete brown an artist who had a couple of bands (piblokto) and (the battered ornaments) in the late sixties and early seventies ..he later did some recordings with the late Graham Bond.
the style was laid back mellow blues progressive jazzy rock good tracks are living life backwards and aeroplane headed woman a my favourite album is things may come and things may go but the art school dance goes on forever by piblokto 1969

Rusty, wasn't Pete Brown associated with Cream in that he wrote a couple of songs or so for the band?

yes pete brown teamed up with jack bruce and also bruce and brown wrote theme from an imaginery western by mountain and also you dont know which was recorded by may blitz

MAY BLITZ !!! we must be around the same age Rusty !!! I thought I'd never hear that name again !!! It had a female gorilla on the album cover. She had a hat on ...lol...which brings me to the question ...have you heard of TIN HOUSE around the same time ?

Both albums had a different soung of hard rock....they sounded like they were playing in your house !!!!...hard to explain the sound

Just found album Tin House (1971 )on youtube ive had a listen ..good old honest early 70s rock and roll just as i like it..
