Since I have been away, I have discovered I am not too bad in the kitchen.
I was just making myself a chicken and onion soup and was wondering what you guys like to cook?

Pretty good at cooking my own goose! But truthfully, a very experimental cook. It's either brilliant or the cat looks at me funny when it ends up in her bowl. Needless to say my feline friend has the broadest possible palate of any domestic animal in history. I have to offset that occasionally with stuff I buy at the vets otherwise the poor creature will turn into something you would see in Jurassic Park. Timing is everything in cooking. And music!
Hey CH here's a tip for you. Next time you do Italian, get a bottle of Brunello 2006. Marvellous stuff.

Good down home meals, nothing fancy...barbecuing during this spectacular and unusual heat wave.....pork chops, chicken, hamburgers, spare ribs, steaks, salmon.....also love to cook spaghetti and meat balls, beef stew and boiled dinners.
