Greeting - Dakota Census - 03-08-2012
Hi Everyone,
I work with a number of other artists under the name Inferna Campanis, we do a lot of noisy sound collage, electronic music that embraces errors and general randomness. Hoping to find some new collaborators here.
Check out our blog if you're so inclined - http://abyssofheight.blogspot.com/
Cheers,

Does this mean you just throw things in the pot and then wait until the smoke alarm goes off. That's not creativity. That's called laziness.

modern music is "lazy music" IMO...well most of it anyway!

Welcome to the forum Dakota! I've just started litening to your soundcloud page, I am enjoying what I've heard so far. I see 20 tracks from your group and I will be diving in!
***I have listened to most of your songs uploaded and am impressed! Thank-you for sharing your project with us.

Thanks for the reply, I was a little put off by the first couple and hadn't come back to this forum for a while.
To answer your question I kind of like everything, but there are a few albums I always seem to come back to:
Arvo part - Tabula Rasa
John Cage - Daughters of the Lonesome Isle
Spectrum - Forever Alien
and just about everything by Primal Scream
How about you?

Cheers friend, appreciate the words of encouragement. Do you have any work of your own to share?

You are most welcome Dakota Census! I don't have any projects right now.
I really like your use of different percussion instruments. are you recording them and looping them or are they sampled/emulated? Lots of variety in your songs - some of the more esoteric titles made me laugh - thanks!
