Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame 2013 Nominees Announced - LMD - 05-10-2012
So, the list of nominees been released. Some worthy acts this year. Some not so worthy in my opinion. What do you guys think?

Personally, I think Rush NEEDS to be in, and with the other members of this class I think DP needs to be in as well. I don't know much about the Butterfield Blues Band but I know my Dad has been trying to turn me onto them for a while (One of the few bands he can tolerate that he thinks I'd actually like, but I never gave them a significant enough chance due to lack of time.).
I love Randy Newman (Who doesn't?), but Rock N' Roll H.O.F? Come on.
No N.W.A or Public Enemy because they're also not Rock N' Roll though I'm sure at least 1 gets in to further the move from "Rock N' Roll" to "Music."
Donna probably makes it in because of her passing and the missed "Opportunity" last year, though I still don't think she belongs in.
Personally not the biggest fan of Joan Jett, but I know she's pretty important to rock n' roll historically so she'll definitely make it at some point, but I think she might just miss the cut this year due to an overcrowded class.
Don't know much about the others, aside from the fact that I'll be very, very, very excited if Trower makes it in (Procol Harum). Can't imagine they will though. They're all but forgotten nowadays. At least Paul Butterfield's still considered one of the premier blues bands (Got sent a link of the 100 essential blues albums a while back and PBBB was in the top 5). PH has just fallen off the map.
So, conclusion, I'm predicting; Rush, DP, N.W.A/Public Enemy, Donna Summer and PBBB edging out Joan Jett for the last spot (Or the 1st runner up.). If it was up to me though, I'd have Rush, DP, PBBB, Procol Harum and Heart.
How about everyone else?
