quatermass II 1997 - Mrrusty1 - 05-04-2013
quatermass originally recorded 1 album in 1970 entitled quqtermass it was a brilliant original album the music was organ based rock with classical and jazz influence (a lot like the nice), pete robinson keyboards, john gustaffson bsaa and vocals and mick underwood drums, there was a long gap and then in 1997 mick underwood teamed up with nick simper ( johny kidd and the pirates and deep purple mark 1) bass don airey keyboards gary davis lead guitar and vocals and bart foley rhythm guitar and lead vocals..( the long road) this new lineup was much more of a hard rock ensemble , it reminds me of whitesnake, it is good but the original feel of the first quatermass album is sadly lost.
