Powerful Indie songs (recommendation)! - SirSims - 08-08-2013 Hi everybody, I hope you can help me with something: I'm currently working on a "Cinema tribute"-video for this year and I'm using indie songs as background music. (1 song for all drama movies, 1 song for comedy movies, for love stories,... and so on....) Now I'm still looking for a good indie song for the Drama part of this video (a fairly new song would be good), no matter how long I search I just cant find a good one. The song should obviously be sad, but also powerful at the same time and it would be perfect if it builds up volume and ends in a powerful and absolutely dramatic finale. (just like "Foals - Spanish Sahara" for example). Also, it doesn't really matter if it's more of a folk or electronic (etc....) song, as long as it has a "good rhythm"... If you recommend a good and fitting song, I will choose it for the video and (if you want) I will also mention you in the credits. (my last tribute video has currently 166,000 views worldwide.) I can give you two examples of very good dramatic indie songs (in my opinion) and how they were used for the cinema tribute: 1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGFECiR_I84 (The song starts really slow and quiet at about 1:25 and gets more dramatic at 2:30) 2. even better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suNxee2D340 (The song starts at about 2:31 and gets more dramatic and INTENSE at 3:30) So, I hope you can help me. =) |
