Jay Z Magna Carta Holy Grail Tom-ford Clean Download Link Mediafire - CRAZY-HORSE - 08-04-2014 aww!, come on Jerome... stop putting ALL rappers in the same basket(case) Jay Z Magna Carta Holy Grail Tom-ford Clean Download Link Mediafire - Jerome - 09-04-2014 That's where they belong. Cannot stand rap - period. No imagination to it at all as far as I am concerned. There's no craft to it. No musicianship either. You know how guys take a spray can and then use a cut-out template to manufacture an image on a wall i.e. graffiti. That's how I see and hear rap. It's formulaic music. Whereas classic rock/electronica etc is more like an oil on canvas. It's constructed in stages and the final picture is determined by the direction the brush takes. Ok. now you can have me committed..... One of the reasons I am so fond of electronic & classic rock is that the piece evolves over time. So the music takes you on a sort of journey through different states (albeit only in your head). Rap just does not do that. It's not supposed to. And that's why I don't like it. For me it is the least adventurous form of music. When you have heard the first few bars you can almost predict what the last few are going to be like. There's no surprise element - nothing to hold the interest. |
