Nihal ft. Shelby Lindley - Sad Song
#1
Hey guys, Nihal here. Here is a track I have been working on last year, I feel it is one of the best tracks I have created, and I would like to hear from everyone what they think of this track:

Also, feel free to check out my other songs:

Sorry I don't like it. The lyrics just don't make sense to me at all.

Well most of the song isn't lyrical and the lyrics were supposed to be simple, but have you tried checking out my other tracks?

Well if it is not lyrical don't call it a song. Songs have words - that's why they are called songs. They are meant to be sung. Sing, Sang, Sung, Song - get it? Just as a matter of interest most of the song IS lyrical.

And yes, I have listened to your other tracks - sorry, but I don't like them.

We've had this discussion on the Board and Bro Jerome is dead on point--to be a song, it must involve the human voice and, practically speaking, words (the wordless but voice-involving early music choruses and similar modern excursions maybe the exception that proves the rule). I had to re-program myself to call non-voice music "tunes". What you call it when they are not tuneful either, I have no clue.
I'll now ship the oars on my kayak.

I shudder when I hear instrumentals being labelled as songs!
