Jimmy Greenspoon RIP

Long-time keyboards with Three Dog Night died Wednesday--here's an obit: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/14/arts/m...at-67.html
Actually I don't care about him one way or another--it's just an excuse to play some TDN.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKaQzQAlNn4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n_e1oqhiMM << featuring the insufferably arrogant Chuck Negron on lead
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiKcd7yPLdU << Again with the drug-dog...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CuNBengxaQ << Chilling extended version on TV's SoundStage<< why folks paid the bucks to see them << Eternally grateful to Laura Nyro for writing this utter classic
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dm6qw_yeo6o << One of Hoyt Axton's best--TDN was an early champion of his music << BTW, Waylon Jennings does a killer version q.v.
Their '02 appearance DVD with the Tennessee Symphony Orchestra is not to be missed. Superb tho' outrageously expensive.
Sure been enough 3-dog nights this winter...

Rest in peace Jimmy! An integral part of Three Dog Night, one of the biggest bands of its' era, their songs flooded the airwaves and local bands covered their music!

A great example of Jimmy's playing!

Thanks for the clip, SteveO. I was a bit dismissive--a look at that obit will show others big-timers took him seriously.
