Coming soon!
I love Tori. I haven't been around for all of her music, but I have at least listened to it all. (Unless there are covers I'm missing.) Feel free to comment on what you think about my opinions - but keep it nice please. If you disagree with something, just say you disagree. You don't need to start a whole flame war about it.
This will start either today or tomorrow!

'Strange' from Scarlett's Walk - my favourite of hers. Don't really know her other albums. Have 'Little Earthquakes' but never listen to it. Scarlett's Walk, on the other hand, gets quite a bit of play.

Well I think you should listen to Little Earthquakes, it's an amazing album! I don't want to deny or confirm any songs though...

OK - I'll give it a spin later today (hope I can find the thing), but if memory serves me well I got bored with it the last time. Maybe it's one that has to grow on me. We'll see....

There were a couple of her albums that had to grow on me before I liked them too.
Here come the first few!

Number 100: Angels
Tales of a Librarian (2003)
"They're trapping angels

By the Potomac

But it's not how you think
You'd be surprised
They liberate
Your dreamscape
Till you can't remember
To recall
Where your wings
Have gone
Tell me where they've gone"

Out of the two new songs in ToaL, most people prefer 'Snow Cherries France'. IMO, that song is kinda... eh. All the instruments in this one go together very well, and the vocals are very well done too, and it goes well with the album. I listened to this album a lot when it first came out, and it was the one that got me into the amazing music of Tori Amos. It's only fair that this special song should get a place on my top 100!
Number 99: Pancake
Scarlet's Walk (2002)
"You give me yours
I'll give you mine
'Cause I can look your God
Right in the eye
You give me yours
I'll give you mine
You used to look my God
Right in the eye"

The vocals in this song just mesmerize me sometimes. Listen to that echo effect. I kind of wish this wasn't a keyboard song, because I like the sound of the piano more than the keyboard. Nevertheless, Scarlet's Walk was a great album, and this is only the beginning of its great songs.
Number 98: Caught a Lite Sneeze
Boys for Pele (1996)
"Caught a lite sneeze
Caught a lite breeze
Caught a lightweight
Lightingseed
Boys on my left side
Boys on my right side
Boys in the middle
And you're not here"

I know a lot of Tori fans will yell at me for putting this song so low, but I have to admit, I don't like the sound of the harpsichord very much. I prefer it when it has a piano, which unfortunately is only in live shows. Still, the harpsi-chords (HAHAHAHA! GET IT? I'M THE LEAST FUNNY PERSON EVER TO HAVE LIVED!) are beautiful, but I'm not sure how she managed to play it all at once. The lyrics are... well, they're quite random, but how many of her songs don't have lyrics which are at least a bit random?
I'm just gonna say this now: It was not easy placing all these songs.

Number 97: Mr. Zebra
Boys for Pele (1996)
"Hello Mr. Zebra
Can I have your sweater
Cause it's cold cold cold
In my hole hole hole
Ratatouille strychnine
Sometimes she's a friend of mine
With a gigantic whirlpool
That will blow your mind"

The link above is from the live version in 'To Venus and Back'. The reason for that is just because for whatever reason it's the only version on the channel. Anyway, this song needs to be longer! It has a very catchy tune, and it's very hard to play (believe me, I've tried). I do prefer the album version better though, as it does have some awesome little brass parts in it.
Number 96: Code Red
American Doll Posse (2007)
"Slip slide my way through this charade
I know all the players and I must say
Do this long enough
You get a taste for it
I'll do this last one and I'll grow me some wine
Leave them troubled boys all behind
What you stole, I would have given freely
Code red staring, Code red staring"

Surprisingly not a common choice for top lists. (Well, surprising for me anyway.) It sounds like an angry song at the beginning when the band play, but then Tori's fairly soft vocals make it an interesting mix. It all works for me.
Number 95: Edge of the Moon
Night of Hunters (2011)
"Here on the edge of the moon
Running from our future
As I look back
Your hart grabs my hand
Asking me
To remember a vow you made
That would always take
Me to the edge of the moon
Circling pictures of you"

That eerie piano at the beginning... Chills every time. The piano part is beautiful with her voice at the beginning. Then when the orchestra starts to play it feels warmer... This song is a mixture of chills and thrills, to say the least.
To avoid any confusion, these are coming in small sets. There will be one update hopefully every day.

Number 94: Jackie's Strength
From the Choirgirl Hotel (1998)
"Make me laugh
Say you know what you want
You said we were the real thing
So I show you some more and I learn
What black magic can do
Make me laugh
Say you know you can turn
Me into the real thing
So I show you some more
And I learn"

That strings section, man... I don't have much else to say tbh, just that this is a nice song, I guess.
Number 93: Girl Disappearing
American Doll Posse (2007)
"A girl disappearing
To some secret prison
Behind her eyes she whispers
'Big surprise there was
No protection by this urban light
So I'm running to
A constellation
Where they can still see you'"
Those chords! The orchestra and everything else blends in to make this lovely tune. It's almost haunting sometimes.
Number 92: I i eee
From the Choirgirl Hotel (1998)
"With your E's
And your ease
And I do one more
Need a lip gloss boost
In your America
Is it God's
Is it your's
Sweet saliva"

The lyrics are particularly random in this one, but the actual story behind it is pretty creepy. She would have the same dream every night about this little boy who would take her with him to try to save all these different cities. They would fail every night, but the little boy would still say "We may have failed today, but we still have to come back tomorrow!" And it happened over and over. Very spooky! And as they would run along to the cities, he would sing "i i eee, i i eee..."

Sorry everyone... This was cancelled. I may remake this in future.
