Roger's nineth solo set....
liking the first two singles from it I was cautiously hopeful...
I needn't have worried though...
about the half the album tracks are covers but I only previously knew one of them,
which surprisingly is Nick Cave's "into my arms"...
the opening track, even though it is a cover sounds remarkably similar to Townshend's
tracks on his "white city" album....
theres ballads, theres soul (out of sight,out of mind) theres R+B (certified rose)...
all up a pretty good collection of songs to suit the depth of his vocals and it does not
embarrass him or the legacy of The Who in any way...
