Spotify listen:
first new material ive heard from Wilco in over thirty years...
original member of UK blues-rock band Dr Feelgood in the 1970s,
moved on to be part of Ian Dury's Blockheads, played with Stranglers after that.
went on to be part of Daltrey's band...
hes hailed as "the second best blues guitarist to come from the UK"...
album has a blues rock feel to it,
also, can hear an Ian Dury style delivery in some of the vocal lines...
my third very good new release listen in a row after Buddy Guy and Fantastic Negrito...
its on the "to purchase" list, superb album!
how could I go past this one for our esteemed elder:
for you MH:
