latest album from Paul McCartney...
was a bit apprehensive as I didn't like his three previous efforts much...
some piano ballads, some rock and some pop...
sure his voice is showing wear and tear from his 76 year old body but that's life...
some cool catchy tunes on here (as we'd expect)...
nothing bad on here at all....
a surprisingly good album for a guy who is fifty six years into an illustrious recording career...
already posted the first three singles so heres one of the rockers:
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..." - Me 2014.

ok...
I listened again...
this is a really good album, it just grows on me more with each listen...
but at the same time its like a long lost friend has returned because this is the McCartney I like best, nothing experimental or out of left-field, nothing overly clever or sophisticated
just an album of him doing what he does best ie: piano ballads, acoustic guitar folk, catchy pop and a touch of rock
in fact the weakest tracks on the album are those he released in the lead up to the album release (all previously posted on MD)...
could well be in my top four or five albums of the year come the end of December, but we'll have to see.

I agree
a very good album
stop all the experimental stuff and do what you do best
not really a bad track here
weakest are the Brazil track you mentioned plus that Ceaser Rock thing
best for me was Dominoes and Despite Repeated Warnings
always love the tempo changes mid track which he has always been superb at
congrats Sir Paul
