Spotify listen:
the band's fourteenth album,
well, not a band, a duo now, made up of Lynne and Richard Tandy who was the band's
keyboardist in the 70s and early 80s.
Lynne has one sound, the ELO sound, period, that's not a bad thing. its a winning formula,
and it is and has been for decades, so much so that no matter who Lynne works with their music
ends up sounding like Jeff Lynne.
probably the worlds greatest Beatles tribute band also LOL.
anyway,
from the cover art through the airtight production to the melodic harmonies and back again.
album would fit nicely between any of their back catalogue.
on the "to purchase" list

my favourite: has a bit of a McCartney feel in the verses:
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..." - Me 2014.
