i go to one called "jb hifi", theyre a chain of electronic stores, they sell all audio/visual/cell/gaming/music....all things home entertainment, their music section is sublime....name an artist from any genre and theyve probably got it and theyre cds range from $10-$20 for most things, all other cd shops sell for upto $30 a cd, and if they havent got what you want in stock, theyll order in for you. they are just starting to incorporate a vinyl section now....and actually stock record players alongside cd players.
their music staff have a fairly good knoweledge of all things music, i have a contact there who updates me on whats just come in, or is new when i see him, he's only a young lad but knows his stuff they usually have what i want, but if they dont i go to "cdwow", "hmv" or "amazon" and compare online prices
