I think I suggested you the band Ozric Tentacles a while ago on your psychedelic rock/music thread.

Did you ever give them a listen? On the site http://www.allmusic.com, they describe them as this:

So Space Rock is included. They have over 16 albums, but I know only 4 of them, as I am discovering this band right now. So maybe I don't know yet the albums that fits the most in the "space rock" category; so I will try to suggest you some songs that I think may fit in this genre

Space Rock to me means Hawkwind. Won't be to everyone's taste, though...

Of course, if you are searching for space rock with vocals and/or lyrics, forget completely Ozric Tentacles. They are 99% instrumental. I heard they once did only one song with vocals. But on my side, it's exactly what I love from them; good instrumental bands are so rare. I love instrumental music more, I don't know exactly why. I think it's because the main focus is on music so it have to be self describing; I mean the music have to speak for herself, no need to put vocals to explain what the music means or what happens, you can just use your imagination to interpret it how you feel it.

I heard the first Pink Floyd album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, is a must have in psychedelic music and it have vocals and lyrics. Maybe you should check this one, if it's not already done.

Tiggi, I have heard bit of Hawkwind, maybe 2 or 3 tracks.. from Space Ritual, I have heard Sonic Attack, will try your suggestions as well thanks.

Drealm, I liked Ozric Tentacles a lot.. But since they have 28 albums or so and the one I have had no vocals.. I thought I'd ask you if they do no vocals at all..
Anyway I'm hooked on Holohdron.

Mike Oldfield's 'The Songs of Distant Earth' Also a band called Ramases - only made 2 albums I think. Space Hymns & Glass Top Coffin are the two I have heard.
