How might this music be classified? Name some albums/artists that feature this kind of music.
To me it is some jungle/tropical theme music. The shrill flutes, xylophone/marimba, and primitive drum beats/shaker
convey that impression.
Lately, I have been collecting African music
including tribal drums. Is the music featured in the cartoon genuine African culture music
of some sort or is it more stereotypical of the tropical regions of the world?
