the duke of earl, this soul legend had two careers, first as a member of the early soul group[the dukays]from which the classic[duke of earl]was recorded, as was some early gems...the girl's a devil-festival of love-kissin in the kitchen...but the real fun began when gene went solo and ruled the sixties with...fooled you this time.. the girl don't care.. god bless our love.. man's temptation.. it's gonna be good times..rainbow of love..just be true.. nothing can stop me.. the river of tears, and the duke didn't stop in the seventies[groovy situation-give me a chance-get down]or the eighties[does she have a friend-i'll be there]this soul legend has the resume so it's time for his inclusion I think...the duke of soul-clean gene chandler!!
