i someone asked me yesterday who he was i'd have said..."who?", let alone name a song he sung...
but i theyd have asked me if i knew "me and mrs jones", id have said..."cool song"...


I checked Wiki for his discography...some 50 singles, 16 albums released in his career, yet i only know one song...
it does look like he did a few covers in his time though..."don't give up on us", "only the strong survive", "let 'em in" to name a couple.

I think the song got a bit of extra traction in this country through being used in a cat food commercial. The cat was apparently very fond of Mrs Jones, because she fed Puss the correct Brand X cat food.
