What bands do you like?

Gojira, In Flames, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Wintersun, Dethklok. Beyond Creation, Bloodbath and At The Gates sound good too, but I'm not really "into" them.

Progressive Rock and mainly when I'm alone because a majority of people in society have a short attention span for the music itself and the sound and style of composition annoys them to an even greater degree. I have respect for their wishes , finding a room and listening to the music at a low volume behind a closed door. Usually when listening to the music of Happy The Man or Univers Zero. I'm a hundred percent sure that this kind of incident occurs with other styles of music where a person that hates "Country music" must physically walk out of the room or they won't have the ability to converse with their friends..or how the thrash attack of "Metal" is a shocking sound to some people's ears and they cringe with embarrassment. "Progressive Rock" really gets the shaft from many detailed observations directly related to the music and people seem to form these "so called" nasty?rude comments and what really stuns me is the fact that these people are not musicians...so they wouldn't understand the formulas and elements applied to Prog holding them responsible for being dismissive of the creative and artistic aspect to the composition. Think about it. That's ignorant stupidity allowing your personal negativity to over-rule the importance to a form of art. It seems ironic that a great many people who are intelligent..allow themselves to act like children. That's the "Progressive Rock" social environment and it's been that way for decades. The "Progressive Rock" underground world is a very complex place to live.
