EMINEM "phenomenal"
probably get to #1 all over the world in a few weeks time....
single comes from a movie called "southpaw", a boxing movie
from all accounts....
movie makers wanted Marshall to star in it but he opted to
instead produce and oversee the soundtrack...
it may well fit in with the movie but....
it just dont cut it for me...phenomenal it isnt!
bring back the old Eminem not the useless prick who has
released crap over the last two or three years!

HR hitters/sluggers drive the Cadillacs but they don't win games (not with their pitiful batting averages and strike-out totals); it's the middle infielders hitting singles and doubles, and stealing bases who do. The HR guys just look more spectacular and show better on the highlight films.

I don't know about ALL that. Pujols has been seen driving a Maserati, has two World Series rings, has a career .316 batting average, 537 home runs, and strikes out, on average, 1 every ten times at bat. I don't know about you but that sounds AMAZING to me. I personally think it's the pitching that wins the game for you. It's hard to hit what you can't see. I hear ya on the small ball stuff though. I'm from MN, I've almost forgotten what a HR is! But then again, I've almost forgot what winning in too (it's starting to come back to though - Thank you Paul Molitor)

Granted it's just a feature by Eminem but I think this is a really good example of what he IS capable of. I think the great thing about him, to me, is the way he can put together a song lyrically, and the emotion he puts into his words. And he can do it without utilizing profanity and/or vulgarity every other word.

thanks for that link, i'd not heard it previously....
Eminem is a great storyteller and emotive...that is a rarity in the Rap genre.
he does at times use vulgar language, but its usually in the context of the song....
and once an album he'll use it to the extreme(thats not the right word, the right word is explicit)...
his "the way i am" boigraphy is a very good read if youre interested in checking it out.
