RIP Jon English

Aussie singer/actor Jon English died overnight,
he was 66 and died from complications following minor surgery a week ago...

he started performing in 1966 and released a few singles in the 1960s(all covers)
he later went on to star as Judas Iscariot on the Australian stage performance in Jesus Christ Superstar
in the early 1970s, performing the role more than 700 times.
his music career then took off with a string o hits through the mid 1970s to early 1980s...
he had acting roles in numerous Australian films/ mini series and other stage shows and continued to perform
in the role of singer or actor right up until his death yesterday....
over the decades he released over twenty studio albums, his last, just a couple of years ago...
