Coldplay "up&up"
third single from their "head full of dreams" album,
or as I call it "album full of crap"!
sorry but these guys lost me three albums ago,
I don't like the song in any way, shape or form,
but maybe someone here will.
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..." - Me 2014.
The video is actually far better than the song - quite clever. Can't help thinking that someone put a lot of work into the video in the hope the people would watch it to the end (which I did) and get hooked on the song (which I didn't).
I don't understand what Coldplay are about these days. They proved with the Viva la Vida album that they are capable of excellence. Ever since then they seem to have been doing pop-by-numbers, as though they have been listening to too much so-called "R & B".
The one thing I will say for Coldplay is that at least Chris Martin can sing, and apparently without the aid of Autotune.

Have to agree with you CH - this band just irritates the hell out of me. And Chris Martin's voice leaves me cold. Boring, bland pop.

with Coldplay....
I loved: "X & Y"
really liked: "viva la vida", "a rush of blood to the head" and "parachutes"
hated: "mylo xyloto"
and I haven't bought anther one since "mylo xyloto" because I didn't like what I heard on Spotify.

Pathetic song writing! I have no idea how they opened for the Super Bowl!
