big bellowing baritone...
experts call him alt-country/americana...
im hearing alt sounds here, a couple of tracks have a bit of a Nick Cave vibe (ala "the carny") and the vast majority would be more alternative than country or americana also...
his influences growing up were Dylan and Cohen and that shows especially the Cohen...
a very good album IMO...
