so, I am turning 30 in September... spending the whole week with my friends in a villa in the woods, with a sauna and planning on having a jolly good time. I appear to be strange in that chaning from a 2 to a 3 is not bothering me, and I am rather looking forward to it.
what did you guys who have passed the big 30 do for yours?

I'm 35 now. For my 30th I took matters into my own hands and planned with a couple of friends help a huge 80's themed costume party. Some of the costumes were hilarious! We played 80's music, had 80's karaoke, 80's trivia and of course 80's decor which included blowing up 99 red balloons and floating them in the pool. I'm so glad I did it. I usually have pretty mundane birthdays but 30 was great!

Makes two of us. I just could not be bothered. Same goes for weddings. Been invited to many but never attended any. Find them incredibly boring and contrived.
