Not to sound mean, but literally anyone with the most basic electric keyboard could write this in about ten minutes.

I disagree. While I don't particularly like the track, it does show some mastery of harmony and a sense of feeling. And it would take a lot longer than 10 minutes to put the basic structure together. There is some real thought behind this.
