^LOL! That candle. And the card machine - gee - had forgotten about those. Them were the days!! I'll bet the shop assistant is a politician now - very good at passing the buck, sweaty palms and all.
Can't say I blame NY - I'd be affronted too. No wonder he's so crusty - years of similar stuff no doubt!
