An homage to all the great "girl groups" (in quotes to keep the PC Police off my a$$). 4-1/2 stars on AMG: http://www.allmusic.com/album/its-the-gi...0002749613 << everything about this recording is ultra-class. Everything.

As a special treat, here's "The Divine Miss M" doing that first tune live on TV. And hey, let's not forget she started as an oldies cover artist 42+ years ago in gay bath-houses: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgTWWPIQCEs and http://www.allmusic.com/album/the-divine...0000650495 and then there's this cover of Leslie Gore's classic feminist anthem with some other women you may have heard of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_oFL_b719g
