Damn Jazzy....
i havent even heard of 90% of the artists youve posted in this thread....

im am familiar with Brubeck...i have his "take five" on vinyl(UK release from early 1960s i think), and i know my mum has several Dave Brubeck Quartet vinyls somewhere also which i used to play quite a bit when i was younger, and of which i liked a lot.

Wynton Marsalis, not really too familliar with his work but i do have that superb album he did with Clapton several years ago

and i know several other names you listed but i cannot recall what ive heard by them,if anything, just remember the names??

One of the reasons I'm doing this (in addition to flexing my ego) is to inspire folks to take a flyer in looking an artist up--or at least a listed piece(s) by them--a painless way to do so. And natch to remind myself of what I've got and whether I like it as much today as when first bought/traded for--been having a grand time playing some forgotten-about nuggets, whereas others are re-buried in Deep Archives. I'm also taking it to heart to gather mentions for example that Clapton/ Marsalis piece which I don't have.
