Hey does anybody think that corporate funded music is not as respectable as indie (Self Funded) music?

In my view, music's music.

I'm not concerned how the recording/manufacturing/distribution is handled, if music is good that's where it ends for me.

The problem for independent artists is exposure. It's more difficult to find without the marketing of the majors...

If I like the music then if it's corporate funded or independent self funded doesn't make a significant difference.

As Tiggi remarked the major dilemna for independent artists is recognition !

I think its the music itself that matters not how it is funded

I can't see a difference as far as the music is concerned. As long as people don't sell out to the people funding them, all seems like it would be cool.
