Why? Because his compositions are that perfect mix of out of the box and accessible (something tells me he would have been a brilliant producer if he was a live today). His compositions are still amazingly relevant and are consistently favorites of those in the classical field. He's one of those dudes that you wouldn't say anything bad about, even if you didn't really dig his music.
