LOL....no, you didnt lose a point Ruby but i can deduct one if youd like me to, was simply a typo Ruby, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

yes, Guns 'n' Roses are correct...

they also happen to be the "G" artist of which i have most albums by, which incidently, no-one guessed correct!

i have the following cds by GNR
"appetite for destruction"
"use your illusion I"
"use your illusion II"
"lies"
"chinese democracy"

im surprised ive only previously posted their debut "appetite for destruction" on MD....very strange indeed?

an interesting fact about GNR also....
i was watching a doco on David Geffen(Geffen Records) a few months ago and he was saying in an interview on the show that "appetite" had been released for almost a year prior to it being a hit and only sold 25,000 copies in that time...
he was also saying that he thought it was one of rocks greatest albums and deserved to sell, so he approached the people at MTV and begged them to play the video for "welcome to the jungle"...they agreed with his request and aired it at something like 4am in the US...apparently MTV's phonelines were inundated with calls to play the track again...and the rest(as they say) is history.

and as usual the question posed at the end is a simple one....

if you had to pick one cd from my list of "G's" that you dont own which one would it be?

the thread is now unstickied... my "H" list will commence when i have re-compiled it again(i did do it but it has been misplaced!)

I would choose Grizzly Bear but a kind gentle soul on MD sent me a copy!!!...I love the Vecktimest album!!!! ...so I would have to go with Buddy Guy's Skin Deep!
