California band formed in 1996
doesn't seem any better now than when I bought it
think I wanted to see what the buzz wuz
doesn't seem like much of a band with all the lineup changes
this is the groups 5th album and it went to #14 here and #2 UK
they have only had 1 album since then and it topped out at #1 here
this is the only album of theirs that I own
I like this track

California band formed in 1998
split after only 2 albums, this being the second
not sure why I picked it up
must have heard the below track somewhere
seems to be the only thing that stood out on this listen

4th album
this is terrible
allmusic gives it 5 stars and it goes to #1 everywhere
so I know nothing
they show no singles from it and I can see why
this may be the only track I like

Wonderful music, plenty of open space here! Lucky enough to have them touring near me later in the year!

listened to that last Radiohead out of order, my bad
order must be established
order in the court
so meanwhile, back at the bands debut
think this is a pretty good album
much much better than Kid A
I got a Dinosaur Jr feel from this album
and I love this track

So â Iâm listening to Michael Shrieveâs album (with David Beal). Never even registered him before, but he was the drummer behind Carlos Santana at Woodstock, specifically on Soul Sacrifice, and one of the youngest performers to have appeared at the concert; he has since received great acclaim. This is an interesting album of percussive work that had not appeared on my radar up to now. It wonât be to everyoneâs taste (instrumental alert!) but itâs a little detour off the beaten track (which is never a bad thing, IMHO) â¦
