So maybe this IS happening. Not sure why, but a moderator has to approve my posts. I don't know what I did :S
This list includes 281 songs. Remixes or different versions of a song are included with the original song. No live improvs. No other songs that were only played live. If you want to comment, please do, but refrain from flaming. I did start a top 100 Tori Amos songs back in June, but that got cancelled. Some songs may be in a very different place to where they were then, since I found a much better way of ranking songs. I'd also like to say I like every song ranked 255 and up. Let's go...

Get ready for the bad ones...
281: Fat Sl*t
American Doll Posse (2007)
"'Don't you dare,' I said
'Judge me, you go and
Stick it in somewhere,
I'm sick-a hearin' it'"

Aaaaand the honor of last place goes to this song. I can't really believe this exists as a song. The story of ADP is that there are 5 dolls that have their own songs, and the dolls are based around Greek Goddesses. Pip is an angry little doll, and sure enough, she sings this song. She is loosely based around Athena, because Athena was a brave fighter. But Pip takes this a more aggressive way. Listening to this song, it sounds like she's had a bit of a rough life... But it's so short, which is probably a good thing for this song. Any longer, and well, it would be absolutely unbearable. Unless, that is, she gave it a tune...
(I censored the title because I'm not sure of the language rules on this forum.)
280: Walk to Dublin (Sucker Reprise)
A Piano: The Collection (2006)
"If I make the golden hordes
And the Lord needs men, he needs good men
The Lord needs the U.S. Marines
I said, I got them numbers in my sheep machine
I got me an electric sheep machine"

Okay, so the the opinion of this song is mixed. There are a fair few people who do like this song, but this song makes me cringe. The piano doesn't go with the harpsichord and the vocals. Tori's vocals are also incredibly annoying in most of the song, especially in the first "Do a jig,do a jig" part. So yeah. Not a fan of this one.
279 osse Bonus
American Doll Posse (2007)
"Eat your greens
Feed your head
Mind the doubts
They harvest them
Broccoli
Feed your head
Their ideas
Are fried in fat"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vizxhESHevk
Annoying lyrics, check! Stupid lyrics, check! At least the tune is good in this one, unlike the previous 2 on the list. Although it does get a little weird at the "Eat your greens..." bit. And also unlike the previous ADP song in this list, Tori doesn't use another doll to sing it, because Tori, the 5th doll songs this.

278: Pirates
Y Kant Tori Read (1988)
"Steal a jewel, watch it break
It cuts with an eye, I can't escape
The ruby heals, alone I stand
When I sail my ship on dry land"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9Q_zliTYzw
Ah, YKTR... She calls it her "failed record". While only one song from YKTR is in the songs that I like by Tori, you'll find a cluster of them in the first few songs on this list. Pirates is indeed my least favorite YKTR song. The whole album has a weird feeling to it. But Pirates... something about it just isn't right. Tori's vocals are off sometimes, the tune is weird... Still more enjoyable than Walk to Dublin, released 18 years after this was
277: Fayth
Y Kant Tori Read (1988)
"I could wake up and face the day
Maybe I could start again
Why am I afraid of change
Maybe Fayth could understand
Darlin' I remember when
I held the violets in my hand
Love can crush, held too tight
We could bring it back alive
With a little more
Fayth"

Tori rapping? Lol WHAT? Maybe you should just stick to singing, Tori. And try to do a little better than you did in this song. (Oh wait, you did with almost every other song to come on this list? Cool!) The tune again is weird, but that's 80's music for you...
276: London Girls
Caught a Lite Sneeze EP (1996)
"They're all good cooks
And they've got good looks
And they won't lead you down
Said I gotta find a London girl
If I ever get to have a chance"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zD9fqpsK8WE
So in the mix of Y Kant Tori Read songs on this list, you'll also find a lot of B-sides from Boys For Pele. The B-sides around this time were just not good. The song starts out promising, but Tori's voice is just off pitch too much, which is annoying, especially for me since I have perfect pitch. There are even parts when the piano doesn't seem right either. Weird song.

275: The Big Picture
Y Kant Tori Read (1988)
"Why do I feel so threatened
That somebody else will
Take what's mine
Babe it's only rented
No one really owns the
Merchandise"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEQipalw0MI
The song that started it all. Well, sort of. The song isn't really for Tori's voice, which is unfortunate because I'm sure we'd have had another half-decent song from the 80's if the singing was better. The tune is upbeat, but sometimes I don't like even that, maybe because I'm not fond of 80's sounds. Questionable key change too...
274: Heart Attack at 23
Y Kant Tori Read (1988)
"So confused
I almost threw it all away for you
You took me higher
And you dropped me lower
Than I've ever been before"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKESIsXDohk
When I heard this for the first time, I started off thinking 'Hey, this is actually good!' I like that piano (or a keyboard voice for a piano) intro. Then Tori starts... talking. Talking? Not singing? Her voice is all over the place but in some places it sounds like she's trying to sing but just isn't. When the main part of the song starts, it just gets randomly faster and seems too different to the beginning. On top of that, annoying lyrics. The only reason this is ranked higher than The Big Picture is because of that intro.
273: The Power of Orange Knickers (ft. Damien Rice)
The Beekeeper (2005)
"Can somebody tell me now
Who is this terrorist
Those girls that smile kindly then
Rip your life to pieces?
Can somebody tell me now
Am I alone in this?
This little pill in my hand
And with this secret kiss"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDreTHhPILg
If only this song wasn't on there, otherwise it would be a perfect album. This is one of the few songs that I actually agreed with on the "top 25 most controversial Tori Amos songs" list. [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyfcIXxmy_E ] First of all, "Power of orange knickers"? What kind of power would they have? And where else are they mentioned apart from the first 3 lines? Why is that important to the song? The tune's kind of nice, I guess, but this song isn't one I'm a fan of.

All of the songs in this part of the list are YKTR, so at least that means the YKTR songs will be done soon...
272: On the Boundary
Y Kant Tori Read (1988)
"I gave you a kingdom
That you could be lord in
And we both know you loved
The taste of my world
But you ran back to your corner
Where you trip over your lines
Look left, look right
No room to hide"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UALXtk4z3Go
This one can almost pass as an okay song, again, ruined by Tori's inexperienced singing. Maybe it seemed good for the time (I'm not too familiar with 80's music) but again, not a fan. Nothing else to say...
271: Floating City
Y Kant Tori Read (1988)
"Tell me
Is your city paved with gold
Is there hunger
Do your people grow old
Do your goverments
Have secrets that they've sold"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UXMD0T0plw
The intro certainly isn't what makes this higher than the other YKTR songs on this list. The tune is actually something I can get along with this time. In fact, in terms of YKTR, this actually falls under my 'enjoyable' category. Again, 1988 Tori isn't the best however.
270: You Go To My Head
Y Kant Tori Read (1988)
"Yes I understand you give your time
Can't you see I've given my heart
All that light in your eyes is the wine
I'm such a lush for your love"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDD-I6Kc96Q
Good lord, the cheesy 80's love song spirit is in the air straight away >.< Yeah, just a clear love song the whole way through. *SIGHS*

269: Humpty Dumpty
China EP (1992)
"He said
'Everything's going my way'
He said
'Maybe it's my lucky day'
He said
'Anything you want
I can give'"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SI9T-KwB9U
Nursery rhymes with a tune! Very nice. But it's not the tune you'd expect. Adding lyrics too is interesting, but they don't fit with what the rhyme is about... Again, Tori wasn't singing the best for this song.
268: Programmable Soda
American Doll Posse (2007)
"'Cause you can
Can be a cruel fella
So okay, then I just back off
The vanilla"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCM98galYyI
If I had programmable soda I don't think I'd program it to sing. Adding cola or vanilla or cherry would be nice, which is mentioned in the song, but I'm not sure how it makes sense since she does quite clearly say as the first line, "think of me as programmable soda". Okay, so Tori is programmable soda that you can add or take ingredients from so then you can drink her? What? I do appreciate the tune in this one though. This is supposedly sung by the doll Santa. No, that's not the doll of Christmas. She's Tori's doll version of Aphrodite.
267: Cool on Your Island
Y Kant Tori Read (1988)
"We could by an airplane
Build a home in the sand
You could tell your secrets
I could understand
But then by the morning
Comes Crumblin' down
And as you're leavin'
Wait"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oZK8huN_Zk
Certainly one of the better YKTR songs. I will say now that there is only one song from YKTR in the list of songs that I like. This is the third best YKTR song on the list. The original version is one that I really don't like very much, but she upgraded the song on recent tours. Not sure when she started doing it, but the earliest I can find is from 2005. Hah, I'm not sure how that would work but thanks And yes, I'm a guy. I seem to recall you saying Strange was your favorite, is that correct?
