[h=2]SUGAR RAY LYRICS[/h]
"Fly"
(feat. Super Cat)

All around the world statues crumble for me
who knows how long I've loved you
everywhere I go people stop and they see
twenty-five years old my mother God rest her soul
I just wanna fly
put your arms around me, baby [x2]
I just wanna fly
put your arms around me, baby [x2]
dance a little stranger, show me where you've been
love can make you hostage wanna do it again
there's no time to think about the starting or the end
we'll find out I'm told, my mother she told me so
I just wanna fly
put your arms around me, baby [x2]
I just wanna fly
put your arms around me, baby [x2]
I just want to fly- [x2]
[Bridge]
all around the world, statues crumble for me
who knows how long I've loved you
everyone I know has been so good to me
twenty-five years old, my mother God rest her soul
I just wanna fly
Put your arms around me, baby [x2]
I just wanna fly
Put your arms around me, baby [x2]
I just want to fly- [x2]

Sometimes I get Deja-Vu but then I realize I am watching a rerun.

Every breath you take by the Police

That's their best song by far IMO...
I used to love The Police when I was growing up, own all their albums on vinyl and at least a dozen singles on vinyl also...
The passage of time has dated their sound really bad IMO, and I cant bare listening to anything of them that isn't off their final album from 1983 entitled Syncronicity...
That album is a masterpiece IMO

As for Sting as a solo artist The Dream Of The Blue Turtles is the only great album he made, but there are some great moments on Nothing Like The Sun also.

Build Me Up Buttercub
The Foundations

Why do you build me up (build me up) Buttercup, baby
Just to let me down (let me down) and mess me around
And then worst of all (worst of all) you never call, baby
When you say you will (say you will) but I love you still
I need you (I need you) more than anyone, darlin'
You know that I have from the start
So build me up (build me up) Buttercup, don't break my heart
"I'll be over at ten", you told me time and again
But you're late, I wait around and then (bah-dah-dah)
I went to the door, I can't take any more
It's not you, you let me down again
Baby, baby, try to find
(Hey, hey, hey!) A little time and I'll make you mine
(Hey, hey, hey!) I'll be home
I'll be beside the phone waiting for you
Ooo-oo-ooo, ooo-oo-ooo

Thanks to anyone that has read my post and/or replied. Music has always been a very important part of my life. I work at a Bank that has the no commercial music channel playing 24/7. I hear some of these old songs that I have not heard in many years and then I start thinking about them. When I am not thinking about World news I am thinking about music. My wife just found out that I love classical music too. We do not ever listen to classical. Nothing like a little Mozart to relax you after a hard day at work. Do they still sell CDs? I may buy some classical to just mix things up a bit.

In recent weeks I have been listening to heaps of Tame Impala, especially the track "Desire Be Desire Go"

My favourite album by 'one man band' Tame Impala is the second one "lonerism", I also really like the debut "innerspeaker", the latest one "currents" doesn't quite cut it for me, but its still okay...

One of my musical mates used to jam with Kevin Parker and my daughter is good friends with him also...

I've never seen them in concert though but I hear good reports about their gigs...

Paul Weller and Noel Gallagher speak very highly of Tame Impala in the UK press, intact when Paul Weller toured here a few years ago he picked up a copy of the debut and took it back to the UK with him and got some record company guys to contact KP's people to get him over there....

[h=2]THE OFFSPRING LYRICS[/h]
"Come Out And Play"

You gotta keep 'em separated

Like the latest fashion
Like a spreading disease
The kids are strappin' on their way to the classroom
Getting weapons with the greatest of ease

The gangs stake their own campus locale
And if they catch you slippin' then it's all over pal
If one guy's colors and the other's don't mix
They're gonna bash it up, bash it up, bash it up, bash it up

Hey man you talkin' back to me?
Take him out
You gotta keep 'em separated
Hey man you disrespecting me?
Take him out
You gotta keep 'em separated
Hey don't pay no mind
You're under 18 you won't be doing any time
Hey come out and play

By the time you hear the siren
It's already too late
One goes to the morgue and the other to jail
One guy's wasted and the other's a waste

It goes down the same as the thousand before
No one's getting smarter no one's learning the score
Your never-ending spree of death and violence, and hate
Is gonna tie your own rope, tie your own rope, tie your own

Hey man you disrespecting me?
Take him out
You gotta keep 'em separated
Hey man you talkin' back to me?
Take him out
You gotta keep 'em separated
Hey don't pay no mind
You're under 18 you won't be doing any time
Hey come out and play

It goes down the same as the thousand before
No one's getting smarter no one's learning the score
Your never-ending spree of death and violence, and hate
Is gonna tie your own rope, tie your own rope, tie your own

Hey man you talkin' back to me?
Take him out
You gotta keep 'em separated
Hey man you disrespecting me?
Take him out
You gotta keep 'em separated
Hey don't pay no mind
You're under 18 you won't be doing any time
Hey come out and play
