Calexicoâs Carried to Dust â this album just wormed its way into my psyche and I love it â listen to it on repeat now and then for a while, and usually hear something Iâve missed each time. The whole fusion of sounds is so appealing, as is the big big heart behind what they do â interesting, intelligent and warm. The catch phrase of choice is âdesert noirâ, I believe!

^Good song â music by Bruno Coulais who composed the soundtrack.
This piece provides a central theme that recurs throughout â some wonderful cello playing - stirring stuff, and a doccie worth watching IMHO - Winged Migration.

Oceansoul Wrote:Nick Cave - To Be By Your Side Nick Cave is one of my favourite artists mate, love most of his albums including The Grinderman albums... Not keen on his Birthday Party albums though... Only Nick Cave album I don't like was the last one called Push The Sky Away.. He has a new one coming out this month and I'll post it as soon as I hear it.

Hey Crazy Horse and Oceansoul!
I was just listenin' to this one on a mixtape compilation
^^ Nice! I actually just came across his music and can't believe he flew under my radar, but I like what I'm hearing so far. I'll check out some of his albums.
Right now, I'm listening to Radiohead - Street Spirit (Fade Out) While I haven't lied in saying I'm not much of a fan of Radiohead, there are songs I have a favorable opinion of like this one and How To Disappear Completely (so crushing). Not every song of Radiohead's can get under my skin since some songs can be flat and lifeless to my ears. I think I have a bias against wanting to like them mainly because of Thom Yorke and some of Radiohead's fans can over hype them for me. Maybe Radiohead just isn't my cup of tea. I don't know.
