^^ "The Sad Cafe" is the only song I've heard from that album that I consider passable.

Focus - Moving Waves
What a strange band they were. It's a shame most people only know them for their big hit, "Hocus Pocus", because there was much more to their music than that, such as this very short but beautiful piece, track 2 from the album:

![]() RICK WAKEMAN "the myths and legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the round table" cd, 1975 an interesting album IMO.... music appears complex in nature to these untrained ears, but simplistic at the same time... a decent variation in the music also, some prog rock, some classical and at times has a folky feel.... female vocals, a chior and male vocals and narration also... a nice album to listen to, and to think, Wakeman was recovering from a heart attack at age 25 when he wrote this album against all wishes from his surgeons.... I LIKE THIS ALBUM worst track: lady of the lake best track: sir lancelot and the black knight tracks: 1...aurthur ** 2...lady of the lake ** 3...Guinevere ** 4...sir lancelot and the black knight ** 5...merlin the magician ** 6...sir galahad ** 7...the last battle ** 3s=0 2s=7 1s=0 rating: 2.0

David Crosby has released a new album, Lighthouse, and I canât find the whole thing to listen to yet, sadly, but if the three tracks that ARE available on YT are anything to go by, itâs gonna be a goodie!
Thereâs joie de vivre in Crosby again, who considering all his health issues and chequered past, really has no business sounding this good at age 75! He collaborated with Michael League of Snarky Puppy who seems to have successfully lit a motivational flame, and then followed it through co-writing, arranging and producing. I love lighthouses ⦠itâs definitely going on the âto purchaseâ list. ![]() Earworm potential in the lead track ⦠in fact itâs already taken root, lol!! ive been trying to listen to the album via Spotify for a week or so, its still not on there...
heard a couple of tracks from it though, both of which I liked immediately. I did buy his last effort "croz" rom 2014, that was a good album also. love the album cover for "lighthouse"...brilliant picture IMO
