^^ That one is a little too C&W for my tastes.
This is probably my favourite Zevon track - goodness knows why this was not a huge hit:

I have a couple of Marillionâs albums from the Fish era and also from further along the road but have never been a totally dedicated fan as some things work for me, and other things just donât! When everything does gel (which is sometimes one amazing track on an otherwise unremarkable album), itâs quite spectacular stuff. Would love to see them live which I think is their strength, and how theyâve managed to sustain such a massive and loyal following over the years.
Recently took delivery of F.E.A.R. and have been listening to it properly, with undivided attention, which is the only way to do it! Nice little background ditties they most certainly are not, lol!! It really is a brilliant album which has grown on me with each repeated listen â and soooo masterfully made. Wow! Much respect for these seasoned musicians.

Busy listening to a compilation CD of Edith Piaf which I bought last time I was in Paris. Not quite sure what thread to put this in ??!!?? She does not quite fit into any genre as such. She is an enigma. BTW - the movie 'La Vie en Rose' is worth a watch. Marion Cotillard did a fantastic job of the role and thoroughly deserves her Oscar. Magnificent performance. And a damn fine filly to boot!

12th album
released 2 weeks before his death from cancer
probably accounts for it being his second best selling
reached #16 here
he even included Knockin On Heavens Door
all star lineup of Bruce Springsteen, Don Henley, Jackson Browne, Timothy B. Schmit, Joe Walsh, David Lindley, Billy Bob Thornton, Emmylou Harris, Tom Petty, Dwight Yoakam
if only the songs were as good as the lineup

Final track fromm the album "In Absentia" by Porcupine Tree:
"Collapse the Light Into Earth"
Many PT fans have suggested they may have this played at their funeral.

I like to listen to all rock. But I love listening Scorpions and Linkin Park. They are my favourite rock-bands. I also like pop, electronic and R'N'B . I usually listen to music on radio or here
