I really like her album, Hounds of Love. I can listen to it over and over again. <3

SUPERGRASS "road to Rouen" cd, 2005
fifth album out of six for this Britpop group...
hated their fourth and six albums, love this one...
no more experimentation on this, just back to their roots...
not as good as their debut though, which is their best album...
album peaked at #9 in the UK and three singles were released off it...
my favourite track was not one of the singles:

NEIL YOUNG "peace trail" cd, 2016:
Neil's 37th solo studio set...
lots of socio-political messages through this one,
also a couple dealing with his recent divorce from long
term wife Peggi...
slightly folky, but mostly, reminds me musically of the
Greendale album...
only one track I don't like, the rest are pretty good,
but nothing great coming out of the man at this stage of his career,
and certainly better than most of his output over the last decade and a half...
from the album, the title track:

DAVID BOWIE "hunky dory" cd, 1971
a revisit this time round...
an eclectic range on this one from the pop of "changes",
the vaudevillian sound in "kooks", the loose Dylan impersonation
in "song for Bob Dylan", the almost abstract "Andy Warhol" track
through to Bowie's signature sound in "life on mars"...
along with "lodger" and "scary monsters", this is my go-to Bowie album...
as good as this album is, its difficult not to pick Life On Mars as best track:
