Music Head Wrote:thank you Ruby (why can I not type your name without singing that damn song?)

what you hoped for will be what is happening today at my home
with the daughter and 2 grandkids coming over later

hoping to get some headphones out of the deal
I broke mine and cannot listen to music
I have found it impossible to listen to music without them

I'm with you on the headphones.
And? Did anyone come to party (so to speak)?! Can't have you bereft of music listening. No, no, no!

Alonza Bevan was born on this day in 1970 in Middlesex, England. Best known as the bassist and backing vocalist for Kula Shaker, as well as production and engineering duties – he’s also played with Jonny Marr and his The Healers, and mostly recently formed a band named Tumblewild with his wife.

This is from Kula Shaker’s very fab album, Pilgrims Progress, "When a Brave Meets a Maid" an instrumental with a nod to spaghetti western sound (which usually gets my approval), followed by "Winter's Call" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBCYWX--wds,

... and "Peter Pan RIP" … all music composed by Alonza Bevan and Crispin Mills

Jon Anderson was born on this day in 1944 in Lancashire, England. He is best known as the lead vocalist for Yes and for his work with Vangelis, but he’s also done a lot of solo stuff and collaborated with many others - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Anderson. He has most recently aligned with Jean-Luc Ponty to form the Anderson Ponty Band – or APB. They released an album in September of this year, I think, which I have not yet heard.

One of those other collaborations, from an album that is just stunning IMHO – Kitaro’s Dream – Anderson sings all three of the vocal tracks and his voice fits beautifully with this mystical magical music -
