For me it would be
Mike Oldfield - Ommadawn part 1 For me, the second half of this 20 minutes instrumental describe exactly the "tunnel" you take when you die, your soul departing from earth and returning to the source. Every time I listen to this part, goosebumps cover my body; yes it really have this effect! Very intense moment.

Must say I am impressed with the responce on this thread . I admit that many of the mentioned songs I do not know but just looking at some of the titles one can see the logic of the choices . Let's hope there will be more to come on this subject .
