not surprising considering that was her sad life as a teenager
huge hit, Dance Monkey, currently stands at 11 weeks at #1 on the UK charts
and still at #1 on the Aussie charts after twenty long weeks
that track has sold over 3 million copies worldwide, used to love that one but as you
can imagine radio here has played it into the ground
all up a very good debut, looking forward to what she can come up with next time round

but im proud to say im one of only a few people in the world who had the pleasure of
owning this masterpiece, and yes, masterpiece is the only way to describe it

alt, can hear some country influences in some of the music
vocalist has a deep baritone, think Cash, Cave, Cohen, Ezra
lyrically not as deep as the first three, some tongue-in-cheek included
music has the jingle-jangle of Lloyd Cole's lighter moments
(why do I make a lot of comparisons to Cole/Commotions??)

easy to imagine that if she was starting out today then this is

awesome album, had it not been for the two short instrumentals,
which in my opinion, add nothing to the album at all, then this would
without a doubt be my album of the year

theres a thirteen minute epic jam on here, no need for it but that's what he does
hate half the album which is typical of recent releases
but its better than his last handful of albums
