^I seem to think that song might've had quite a bit of airplay here too. Must be a southern hemisphere thing!
Michael Shrieve (of Santana renown) and David Beal - both drummers/percussionists. New age vibes.

"Some Things Never Change" from the album of the same name ... critics weren't very complimentary about this one but the music itself is such a pleasure to hear - they were brilliant, even without Roger Hodgson, just not quite as commercially oriented. And Mark Hart's guitar is fab on this - in fact all the co-opted/session musicians are excellent. John Helliwell also gets to let rip quite a lot which is a good thing!
Here's another one with that sax and some great percussion ... "Sooner or Later" - very funky groove -

love Paul Weller's cover of Neil's "birds" also.
the almost angelic backing singers make this song IMO

From Steve Howe's
The Grand Scheme of Things - very listenable album IMHO ... a good balance ...
And another one - more of an interlude - with a catchy western kinda riff! ...

The title track from Steve Forbert's
The Magic Tree ... earworm material ... a gentle inoffensive earworm.
