William Hart (vocals for 60s-70s R+B/soul trio Delfonics)
aged: 77 cause: complications during surgery the article: Delfonics lead singer William Hart dies at 77 (msn.com) Delfonics Wiki: The Delfonics - Wikipedia i always loved their sweet harmonies and falsetto vocals which were not dissimilar to those of The Chi-Lites they had plenty of hits on the R+B charts in america but not many crossover hits. my favourite of theirs (and probably their best known single)

Archie Roach

JUDITH DURHAM vocals for The Seekers

just woke up to the sad news of Olivia's passing, whilst not really a fan she was an icon here in Australia, and the second Aussie musical icon to die in the last two days. my favourite of hers:

i wasnt a big fan but for a decade she was almost untouchable with the early '70s country thing, the "grease" period in the late 70s and then the early/mid 80s "physical/xanadu" era...
